Join us for the ninth annual Ales for Trails 5K, benefitting the nonprofit East Coast Greenway Alliance. Registration opens July 15.
This community 5K will start and finish at the award-winning Fullsteam Brewery, just north of downtown Durham. The course will wind through Old North Durham to Duke Park and along the Ellerbe Creek Trail – a segment of the 3,000-mile East Coast Greenway route, stretching from Maine to Florida. AWARDS:
Runners will be rewarded with a custom Ales for Trails pint glass filled with Fullsteam ale and will be entered to win prizes and gift certificates from several local businesses. Youth "half-pint" runners will receive an 8-ounce silicon cup - and can refuel with chocolate milk. Top finishers will receive custom awards.
The top overall male and female finishers will receive a unique, custom award. The second- and third-place overall male and female finishers, and the top three masters males and masters females finishers also will be recognized with a special award.
A team prize will be awarded to the LARGEST finishing team.

Online registration closes Oct. 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
In-store registration will be available (if not sold out) at packet pick-up on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 2-4 p.m. ET at Bull City Running Company (202 West N.C. Highway 54 #109, Durham, NC 27713). Race-day registration (if not sold out) will be available at Fullsteam Brewery from 12:30-1:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 13.
